WLBOTT: Too Much Fun?

It was a red-letter day at WLBOTT yesterday. We suspended our “no human contact” policy and had a live gathering of the Elders.

After clearing customs and immigration, Elders JA and JA-SU joined us by zoom from Canada. Elder JimZim drove over from HousTex, and Elder JPZ and SU coordinated the HQ gathering.

Initially, there was some dread on my part, especially related to the human-contact aspect. Then, Zoom crashed my computer while trying to create a meeting link. I had visions of an upcoming WLBOTT purgatory.

But all the catastrophizing was for naught. We had a wonderful session, covering essential WLBOTT business, shareholder distributions (we agreed upon $0.00 Canadian), pending litigation, dealing with the inter insurrection, subpoenas, etc.

The day had much more fun in store for us.

Lunch

As you may recall, Sally the Intern has a day job in the kitchen of a nearby hospital. Her paycheck provides the foundational cash-flow source for WLBOTT.

Since Elder JimZim was in town, we joined Sally for lunch at the hospital cafeteria. The day just kept getting better and better – the special of the day was fried catfish and collard greens.

The Waggies

Elder JimZim surveyed the WLBOTT Agricultural Extension Service experimental hybrid garden. As luck would have it, our pickax arrived from Amazon during his visit.

After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Elder JimZim struck the first blow.

The Haircut: Pure Trust / Pure Regret

Part of fun of yesterday was getting a free semi-annual haircut from Elder JimZim.

It’s always unsettling when you realize someone you care about is totally deranged.

Elder JimZim wouldn’t let me give him a “retaliation” haircut.

Too Much Fun

WLBOTT: Is it theoretically possible to have too much fun?

Elder G: Short answer: yes, but only in the way gravity technically exists while you are dancing on a table.
