Sunday was the Winter Solstice, the renewal of light.
We note the perfect alignment of the HQ chimney and the WLBOTT retreat center.
To commemorate the Solstice, we hiked up to our nearby City Park and photographed the giant compass face about 15 minutes after sunrise.
