The WLBOTT Frankincense Forest

We asked our head of the WLBOTT Agricultural Extension Service, Rose McManure, to evaluate the possibility of growing a frankincense forest.

She is having difficulty sourcing seeds from a reputable source. The only two Amazon sellers of frankincense seeds have only one review each, and both are one-star.

Meet the Team / WLBOTT Agricultural Extension Service (WAES)

Rose McManure
Rose joined WLBOTT in the spring of 1999 and has worked her way up to the directorship of WAES. She originally hails from Thailand, but spent her youth in the highlands of Scotland. Rose is a sports fan as well as an inventor in sports equipment. Her current project: combining archery and the boomerang, where the target is placed just feet from the archer.

Composetta Bloom
Composetta is a wonderful addition to Team Waggy. She acts as the assistant manager at WAES under the leadership of Rose. This lovely Somali woman who spent her formative years in the Swiss alps, and has extensive knowledge of edelweiss. She is also passionate about tree sap, and looks forward to the Frankincense Forest. In her free time, Composetta enjoys music and exploring advances in parasitology. She is currently writing the world’s first Requiem Mass to be performed by yodelers.

Go Waggies!

Composetta and Rose are proud supporters of the Waggie football team. Even though they have no understanding of American football, they show their support. Rose is the team mascot, wearing a costume that looks like a flowering pear tree. Composetta is a cheerleader, but is not really sure what a cheerleader does. The whole thing seems rather silly to them, but they give it the old WLBOTT Try.

Nurturing Hands

When the planting is finished the WLBOTT team is overwhelmed by the efforts of Rose and Composetta.

Years Later…. Time passes quietly.
