Elder JA has requested the services of the WLBOTT research department to identify a bug he encountered on a recent Mountain Sapphire road trip.
Drove to Hanna, then Consort, then home again – total of 8 hours driving – just to do 2 gigs. Mind you, the gigs paid a total of $749,250 (Canadian) and the gas and meals only came to about $170 (a Papa Burger with cheese and no onions costs $9.95!)[1]. But the audiences were great and we had a good time. With the driving, setup, performances and teardown, that comes to about $3.63 / hour each, not counting the time that we took off for meals.
Collected some bugs on the way home. I swear that I heard one of them shouting to his friends, “If I had the guts, I’d do that again!” I included the high resolution photos just in case Elder G can identify the bugs.

[1] Additional details concerning the Papa Burger (no onions) are pending.
