It’s another Black Coffee + Advil for Breakfast day.
On Thursday, I had to get my car inspected, so that I could register my car, so that I wouldn’t get pulled over for an expired ticket (taized, detained, etc.) The good news is that I found a new garage close to WLBOTT HQ that doesn’t have the MAGAt/Ex-Con vibe, and a friendly office manager (that your car, the one without the bumper?).
When (if) your car passes inspection, the garage mechanic logs into a State of Texas web site to inform them that they the vehicle is now eligible to be registered.
But when I got home from the inspection, this little jewel was in our WLBOTT corporate phone voice mail.

This is the Texas State Department of Transportation Im inquiring about the 200 in cash you slipped in the pocket of a automobile inspection official today Please give me a call back at your earliest convenience Bye
Call from (281) 515-8299

Our concerned friend is from Houston!
A couple points:
- we don’t bribe – not in the budget
- the car is only worth $200 if it has a full tank of gas
- having received this call just a few hours after getting the WLBOTT-mobile inspected implies that the Texas DOT web site is hacked.
We tried to look up the calling number on the Google ( (281) 515-8299 ) but no luck. Please feel to call this number repeatedly to help further the investigation.
We have to admit, the security camera stills do look pretty incriminating.
