Of why the Hall of Metronomes

\u201cThe hour is hardly right.
Fred, put that cheese wheel DOWN at once.
George, stop the mood-lamp fight.
And who released the therapy goose
Into the chapel night?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>

\u201cThe time has come,\u201d the Elders said,
\u201cTo test the ancient stew.
The Ladle & Lube has proudly made
A broth of dubious hue.
It glows a little in the dark\u2026

The chickens all wore tiny robes,
Embroidered round with stars.
One solemn hen played clavichord
Beside the pickle jars.
Another gave a PowerPoint
On moisture levels in Mars.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Then Elder JimZim raised his cup:
\u201cA toast before we dine!
To all who laugh though roofs may leak,
Though fate may snarl and whine.
For hope survives astonishingly

And in the silence after that,
The old barn softly creaked.
The windmill turned. The lantern glowed.
A distant kettle squeaked.
And somewhere in the darkened yard,
