What is WLBOTT? WLBOTT is many thing to many people. It is an empty vessel where we can pour our hopes and fears, of all the years…. We can ask, “Why do the heathens rage?” We can ask, “Why do the raving heave?” We can ask, “Why do the heaving rage?”

Sometimes WLBOTT is factoid-based. Sometimes it is semi-autobiographical. Sometimes it is “loosely” based on diary entries, hence semi-diarrheacal.

Today we have a semi-diarrheacal entry from UC#1 & UC#1-SU.

I wanted to discuss 2200-year-old copper-iron batteries but UC#1-SU was busy and responded: “I can’t say anything profound while I’m serving fish!”

UC#1, it’s been a weird morning here. We lost power at 4:14am when the temperature plummeted to 42F / 6C.

Anyhow, power restored in under two hours, and the WLBOTT Emergency Response Team immediately sprung into action.

YES – That is an extremely profound and WLBOTT-worthy phrase.

I thought you and SU might like commemorative tattoos based on the AI prompt: “I can’t say anything profound while I’m serving fish!”

UC#4

WLBOTT: A friend of mine made the following statement, “I can’t say anything profound while I’m serving fish!” What do you make of that?

ChatGPT: It sounds like your friend is humorously suggesting that serving fish is a task that requires their full attention and focus, leaving little mental space for profound thoughts or statements. The humor may lie in the juxtaposition of the seemingly mundane activity of serving fish with the expectation of expressing something profound. It’s a playful way of highlighting the idea that certain activities can be so absorbing that they leave no room for deep contemplation.

WLBOTT: What are some other situations that might require full attention?
